Antioch Lodge3271

What we wear

The basic regalia worn by all Freemasons at their formal meetings:

  • Dark business suit and white shirt.
  • Black tie (in memory of those freemasons who have given their lives in the name of monarch and country).
  • Black shoes and socks.
  • White lambskin apron (can be a synthetic material of similar texture and appearance).
  • White gloves (leather or cotton).

As a brother advances in the lodge so his apron is decorated with tassels and other adornments denoting his seniority.

On practice evenings smart casual dress is suitable and no regalia is worn.
