Where & When

Antioch Lodge meets at Mark Masons’ Hall, St James’s Street, London.

Friday’s

  • 3rd in February
  • 4th in March
  • 3rd in May
  • 2nd in October
  • 1st in December

There are also practice nights (Lodge of Instruction) in Freemasons’ Hall on the three Tuesdays preceding each of these meetings.

The primary theme of each formal meeting is a ceremony to introduce a new, or advance an existing, member. The ceremonies take the form of a short playlet. Each participant learns his part and delivers it from memory.

In February we install the master and appoint or reappoint the officers for the year.

The ceremonies deliver a powerful message to all who watch or take part.

The meetings are followed by a drinks reception and a structured dinner.
